HISTORY

Established in 2019.

Owner, operator, & brewmaster, JJ Phair, began E.J Phair Brewing Company in 2000. Named for his homebrewing grandfather, E.J. Phair, JJ wanted change the face of local craft brewing in the Bay Area.

5 years later, and with notable successes in a variety of beers, the E.J. Phair Alehouse in Concord was the next logical step. We've enjoyed success over the years from our strong ties with the community and an abundance of local patrons who visit us time and time again. We now own 3 locations in the Bay Area: Concord, Pittsburg & Alamo.
